Service Providers
- FQDN - Fully Qualified Domain Name, this is the internet location where Service Information (SI) files may be found. When a broadcaster registers with RadioDNS, they must specify the FQDN corresponding to their SI file. Typically, a broadcaster will have a single SI file for all of their stations.
- Service provider name – within each SI file is a service provider name. Some broadcasters use external service providers and some broadcasters are their own service provider.
- # of Services – indicates the number of unique services identified in the SI file which resides at a FQDN location.
- SPI – Service and Program Information, a checkmark in this column indicates that an SI file exists at the specified FQDN location.
- Visuals – a checkmark here indicates that services adhering to the RadioDNS RadioVIS (TS 101 499) specification are supported (no US broadcasters currently support this).
- Interactions – a checkmark here indicates that services adhering to the RadioDNS RadioTAG specification are supported (no US broadcasters currently support this).
